Just then, my phone started ringing. I hope I hadn’t talked too soon, this girl was starting to get on my nerves. If it wasn’t for Pooh and the fact that she smuggled my drugs for me, I probably would have left her swimming in somebody’s river by now. I looked at my screen and saw “SD” flashing across the screen. That was my code name for Diego, the sperm donor. The last time I saw him shit got ugly, so I hesitated on answering the call, but I did anyways.

“Yo!” I answered the call annoyed. I just knew he was about to say some dumb shit. If he didn’t get the picture now that I was different from the rest of his kids then, he would never get it. They could look at him all high and mighty all they wanted, but to me he was just another nigga that bled the same as me.
